FONTEVERDE INAUGURATES THE KANEBO BEAUTY SALON

Anti-aging products and treatments from the prestigious Japanese cosmetics company

Thermal itineraries and hydrotherapeutic circuits, energising techniques and oriental disciplines, ancient Mediterranean and Etruscan paths: all propositions which guarantee extraordinary results thanks to a combination of modern therapies and traditional rituals and disciplines.

Excellence is the name of the game with the cosmetics products too. If up to now the basic treatment products have been exclusively those of the Fonteverde range, made with active ingredients from the thermal spa waters, February 2007 saw the introduction of a new brand to the spa's beauty area, Kanebo. A longstanding and prestigious Japanese cosmetics company, it is famous throughout the world for its unique anti-ageing products characterised by the addition of silk extracts.

Kanebo enters the work of thermal spas for the first time, introducing its "Harmony and Treatment" philosophy, invigorated by a profound sense of Zen hospitality. The Kanebo world has been recreated at Fonteverde in a multi-sensory area where one can try a series of exclusive treatments born from a combination of oriental tradition and western technology, providing the perfect balance between external beauty and internal harmony.

Treatments for the face and body, which act in harmony with all the five senses, causing a calming effect which gives beauty to the skin while restoring physical and mental equilibrium.

Fonteverde recently has been added to the "Leading Spa" circuit, part of "The Leading Hotels of the World" group that choose the best Spa of the world according to quality, professionalism and innovation. This is a certification for luxury Spa, given after various and serious examinations to guarantee standards of quality and satisfy Leading Spa's guests.

The word "Spa", internationally known thanks to the famous American Wellbeing Resorts is nothing more than the Latin acronym "Salus Per Aquam", health through water, in this case thermal water.

From Chianciano Terme, we come to San Casciano Bagni, a picturesque town in a panoramic position on the slopes of the Cetona mountain. San Casciano is situated among woods of oak and chestnut trees, and the visitor can see all the traces of its medieval origins. In this charming framework, 42 springs gush out, rich in sulphate-calcium-magnesium-fluoride mineral salts, which began to be exploited right back in the Middle Ages for therapeutic purposes. Today, you can have a holiday here and keep fit with the mud-treatments available for rheumatic and articulation problems, and the therapies for the respiratory tract and for dermatological problems. Disorders of the urinary and digestive tracts are also treated..
