Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort lies in the middle of the Tuscan countryside on the border with Umbria, in Val d'Orcia, halfway between Florence and Rome. Right on the premises there's a natural hot waterspring with a brand-new modern spa, offering a menu of more than 100 different types of treatments, from authentic Mediterranean treatments with olive oil to Ayurveda to Chinese medicine, from acupuncture to water-related spa therapies, energetic techniques, anti-aging and aesthetic treatments. It is the perfect spot for both sightseeing and relaxing in a breathtaking location.

Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort in Tuscany Italy opened on spring 2002: A new challenge in the field of health, a vision of well-being with a flavour of Siena, amidst precious hotsprings, endless landscapes and exclusive settings.

The Hotel has been constructed around a portico dating back to the Grand-Duchy times of Ferdinando I de' Medici. The elegant resort comprises 68 rooms, 7 junior suites and 5 suites with terraces overlooking endless fields. The atmosphere is reminiscent of those Tuscan villas of former times with quality furnishings and detailed decoration. Below the 17th century portico, with its view of the valley, the Restaurant Ferdinando I serves a range of traditional Tuscan cooking, a selection of calorie-controlled dishes and a personalized diet program.

Additional facilities include two equipped Meeting rooms, an intimate Christian Chapel reborn in the XI century on the ruins of an ancient pagan temple dedicated to the goddess of health, Igea: an ideal location for stylish Wedding Ceremonies.

A underground corridor connects the Hotel to the Spa. The Hotel clients may walk directly from their room to the Spa, while external spa clients use a different entrance at the opposite side of the Spa building.

The Centro Termale is a multifunctional complex, including therapeutic thermal pools, specific thermal treatment, a holistic centre, a beauty centre and a fitness centre.

• There are six pools of different sizes: a large outdoor pool connected to a smaller indoor one, a Bioaquam circuit, a water gym pool, an exclusive pool for the use of Hotel guests and a little pool reserved for guests' pets.

• The Indian Physiotherapist Kuldeepak Settembre Kathait (better known as Dipu) is the director of the Centre of Oriental Therapies, which includes shiatsu and ayurvedic massage - 2 or 4 hands - reflexology and therapeutic Dhara.

• The Beauty Centre with 24 rooms, offers a multitude of health and beauty programmes for the face and body..
