Mud, oil and honey treatments from the Romans tradition

Adequate relaxation is the golden rule for staying young and fit. The chaos and stress of everyday life often compromise the quality and quantity of our sleep, making it, in some cases, pathological. Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort has added Music of the Brain to its already extensive range of "Medical Spa" services, an innovative and effective method enabling one to rediscover the pleasure of sleep, fight stress and to manage one's emotive susceptibility. It is a technique which uses musical therapy to restore equilibrium to the mind and body, and of all the world's thermal spa centres.
"Music of the Brain", perfected in the 1990s in Russia by Doctor Levine of the "Centre of Sleep Disturbances" is a scientifically proven technique. It harmonises and regulates cerebral waves by making the patient listen to a personalised musical sequence especially created according to the said patient's cerebral frequencies. Those who have to fight insomnia, anxiety, temper tantrums or other problems linked to emotional susceptibilityon a daily basis can request their very own "music of the brain" prescription.
At Fonteverde, this therapy is performed by a doctor and initially requires the compilation of a questionnaire in order to provide information on the patient's health, quality of sleep and life in general. The next stage is an electroencephalogram (which is not diagnostic because it is only carried out on four points on the head) to detect cerebral frequencies and to record any disharmonies. The charts and graphs obtained from this process are encrypted and sent to Russian laboratories, where a team of experts uses complex algorithms to decode them into musical notes which compensate for the previously revealed disharmonies. In a few days, the results will be made available on a CD containing two tracks, one activating and the other relaxing, and you will be able to begin your very own musical treatment, with made-to-measure posology. If the customer is still a guest at the hotel complex, the therapeutic CD will be delivered there, otherwise it will be sent directly to the customer's home. Listening to the CD with one's own "music of the brain", over a period of around six months, will generate immediate benefits for the organism, making it possible to reduce intake of traditional medicines. Subsequently, it will be necessary to update the CD.
