Resort Offers 40, 000-Square-Foot Luxury Health Spa With 36 Treatment Rooms, A State-Of-The-Art Workout Facility And An Elegant Spa Boutique

It seems only fitting that as an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, The JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort, Spa and Golf is home to a world-class spa. Enter Aquae Sulis, the resort's 40,000-square-foot luxury health spa inspired by an ancient Roman temple bath. Today, the modern-day center for beauty and total wellness combines the ancient healing powers of water with the latest pampering treatments. It is a peaceful sanctuary to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit and seek optimum health.

With 36 treatment rooms offering a full range of specialty services, including massages, facials, aromatherapy, body wraps and loofah scrubs, Aquae Sulis is dedicated to restoring, renewing and recreating. As part of the spa experience, guests are encouraged to experience the Aquae Sulis Ritual before their treatments, which prepares the body for the pampering ahead. The Ritual begins with hot soaks followed by cool plunges in the spa's healing waters. In addition, the facility offers invigorating warm whirlpools, effervescent steam saunas, hydrotherapy bathing chambers and cascading waterfall showers that are sure to help guests relax and get into that spa state-of-mind. Guests can also take advantage of the hydrotherapy pool.

While basic massages and facials are on the spa menu at Aquae Sulis, this pampering palace features a number of signature spa treatments. For example, the Aquae Sulis Body Silk begins with a French polish to even your skin texture. Next, the guest is wrapped in a heated blanket to help the body absorb a hydrating marine gel, and the scalp is massaged to ease away stress. The treatment winds up with a dry passion flower mist and the application of a luxurious body cream, leaving your skin absolutely renewed. Other signature treatments include the Aquae Sulis Aromatherapy Massage beginning with a soothing footbath. This deluxe massage will leave your mind, body and spirit peaceful and refreshed, as you select an essential oil to complete the experience. For those desiring a facial treatment, The Aquae Sulis Aromatherapy Facial begins with a Turkish foot soak, followed by an aromatherapy facial, hand and arm massage. And for a truly unique experience, the Aqua Flow Watsu is a soothing massage treatment that takes place in a private heated pool. For guests who wish to work up a sweat during their stay at the JW Marriott, Aquae Sulis features a cardiovascular and weight training area and an aerobics studio where guests can take an exercise class such as yoga, Pilates or aerobics or participate in individual exercise programs. A unique feature of the cardio equipment is the fact that all equipment features built in TV's, CD and tape players.

Aquae Sulis Ritual
Spend a relaxing hour in preparation for your treatment with the Aquae Sulis Ritual, included with all treatments, excluding waxes. You will begin in either the men's or women's Ritual Room with calming hot and
stimulating cold plunges followed by a soak in the warm float pool.
Surrounded by garden waterfalls, you will next move through the six invigorating chambers of the outdoor Hydro-circuit pool.
Your body's "third kidney," the skin, then expels toxins in the steam and sauna.

A cascading waterfall shower finishes with an invigorating water massage.
Relax with your choice of teas, infused water, juices, and fresh fruit.
