The One&Only Spa offers its guests an experience that is luxurious, but also based on Balinese-inspired rituals. The spa has eight individual Balinese-inspired villas, designed for couples’ treatments, although individuals are not discouraged from relishing in the spa experience. None of the villas are contiguous, further adding to the seclusion and privacy its guests well appreciate. Each breathtakingly beautiful villa has its own lush tropical garden, whirlpool and waterfall shower. Villas are equipped with Javanese teak tables, hand-woven Thai silk pillows and wall coverings, and coconut bowls filled with exotic flowers and floating candles. All accoutrement further the nature-based theme, including the use of Elemis products. The spa also incorporates Bahamian spices, fruits and minerals in treatments to further a comprehensively exotic and tropical spa experience.
The spa ritual begins with a traditional Balinese welcoming floral foot bath, followed by the spa treatments; after the treatments, guests are led to their private garden area to rest, partake in an outdoor waterfall shower and private whirlpool bath; the tea ceremony follows, complete with fresh exotic herbal infusions and a repast of luscious tropical fruit. The menu of spa services is extensive, but some of its signature treatments include the One&Only Ocean Club Massage, where two therapists combine five different massage styles on one guest, Japanese Silk Booster Facial, Lime and Ginger Salt Glow, Frangipani Body Wrap, Aroma Spa Wrap, etc. Guests can also opt for an oceanside massage. They also offer treatments tailored for the mother-to-be, bathing rituals, and customized day packages. Elemis products are available in the retail area. A full service salon is also available. The staff prides themselves on the ability to meet and anticipate all of their guest’s spa needs. This is definitely a memorable spa experience.
