Besides people coming to the “Don” to get some rest and relaxation, many come for weddings and business functions. The main resort has over two hundred rooms, and for those who want to stay for extended periods of time, a quick shuttle drive away are the “Don’s” seventy residency units. The “Don” has a great deal to offer its guests in the form of outdoor activities (golf, jet skiing, sailing, para-sailing, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, etc.); there are separate programs for children and teens, and the resort’s unique boutiques, make the resort shopping another great guest activity. And, for the guest who has a penchant for exploring, both St. Petersburg and Tampa are in close proximity to the resort (Orlando is a wee-bit further).
