The Suite Dreams package, a 2-hour service, combines a selection of hydrotherapy treatments using different botanicals, followed by a choice of either a citrus, mint or rosemary and lavender salt glow and a full-body relaxation massage.

Originating in the royal palaces of Java to prepare a bride for her wedding day, the Royal Javanese Lulur is an exotic delight using traditional Asian ingredients that leave skin soft, supple and smooth as silk. A 3-hour retreat from the cares of the world, it begins with a fragrant cup of herbal tea while enjoying a petal-filled footbath infused with essential oils. An invigorating body polish is followed by a full-body massage with two therapists working together to provide the ultimate in relaxation. Step into a petal-filled bath and allow the jets to remove the last of any remaining tension before completing the experience with a choice of either a citrus facial or a reflexology treatment. Manicure, pedicure and hair styling may be added to this ritual upon request. Embark on a journey of the senses that reveals the beauty within and depart with a renewed sense of wonder and anticipation.

The Ayurvedic Balancing Retreat focuses on all aspects of mind, body and spirit in keeping with the East Indian approach to health and well-being. Inhale the aroma of tea infused with herbs while enjoying a footbath that initiates the process of detoxification. Herbs and oils selected and personalized to balance specific ‘dosha’ are used to gently exfoliate the skin prior to envelopment in a warm herbal wrap.
A Marma point body massage rebalances the energetics of the body, releasing restrictions and deeply held points of tension. Shirodhara is an ancient technique where hot aromatic oil streams over the Third Eye, inducing a state of profound relaxation, followed by a Marma Point facial and scalp massage. This 3-hour retreat dispels fatigue, eliminates accumulated toxins and restores vitality and vigor resulting in an enhanced sense of balance and serenity.

The Thermal Sea Mud Haven is drawn from the European tradition of using Moor mud to stimulate the immune system, release toxins and reduce fluid retention resulting in soft, glowing skin with improved tone and texture. This 4 hour purification and slimming program begins with a thalasso footbath to stimulate the lymphatic system, followed by immerson in an air-jet hydrotherapy bath infused with herbs which promote detoxification. Dry brushing and the application of a full-body mud mask stimulates metabolism and increases blood circulation while increasing the release of endorphins, producing a remarkable sense of well-being. A cascade shower is followed by an aromatherapy massage using essential oils that aid in the reduction of fluid retention and promote decongestion. A ginseng and pearl facial utilizing lymphatic techniques to reduce puffiness and refine facial contours completes this exceptional treatment plan. Leave this haven of tranquility feeling leaner, lighter and radiant with inner vitality.

The suite packages at the Spa at Malliouhana have been designed to offer the best of Asian, Ayurvedic and European healing traditions in a seamless tapestry of attention to the needs of the mind, body and spirit.

LEON AND NIGEL ROYDON: THE VISION BEHIND MALLIOUHANA

Malliouhana Hotel in Anguilla enjoys a reputation for being one of the finest hotels in the Caribbean, and its guests, 70% of whom return to the resort year after year, endorse this accolade. The success of Malliouhana lies in the dedication of its creator and owner, Leon Roydon who together with his son, Nigel, runs the hotel.
Leon Roydon's vision was to blend the finest elements of leading European hotels with the warmth and relaxation of the Caribbean. In Anguilla, Roydon found the perfect backdrop for his creation - pristine beaches and genteel, gracious people.

Jo Rostang, the Michelin three star and top rated Gault & Millau restaurateur, embraced Leon Roydon's concept and together they created Malliouhana' s state of the art French restaurant. Today the late Jo Rostang's son Michel Rostang, himself a Michelin two star and highly rated Gault & Millau restaurateur, continues the alliance with the Roydons. Under his supervision the menu features gourmet French cuisine with a Caribbean flair.
Malliouhana Hotel has a staff ratio of four per room, two per guest. Its simplistic yet sophisticated approach has made it a favorite retreat for the rich and famous, but Malliouhana's guests can always rely on absolute discretion. As Leon Roydon points out, "The goal is to offer our guests total relaxation and quiet privacy. We get many celebrities but we never disclose their names to anyone. We never advertise. We rely on word of mouth".
