When Dr. Elizabeth Roche built her first medical spa; she wanted to do more than create a service center, she wanted to create an experience. Dr. Roche has thrown out the traditional view of what medical spas should look like, and has created an environment that soothes as well as tantalizes the senses.

Design elements chock-full of esthetic appeal are incorporated through-out the medical spa. White spaces are illuminated with multi-faceted LED energy efficient lighting to create an ambience of relaxation and meditation while creating a low carbon footprint. Custom milled, renewable American Walnut flooring, accompanied by a 40 foot Zen rock garden that extends from inside to outside the space exudes a powerful organic essence. To top off the medical spa's persona of illustrious nature, they installed a magnificent nine foot river-rock stream for a sink in the bathrooms. The Elizabeth Roche M.D. MedSpa pays homage to the tasteful and understated beauty of nature.

Dr. Elizabeth Roche, a former Elite model, is no stranger when it comes to beauty. She realizes that focusing on skin rejuvenation, as well as the esthetics of her facility, creates a complete package that sets her med spa apart from the crowd. Dr. Roche utilized the expertise of interior designer Matthew Kelly to accomplish this endeavor. Matthew Kelly, a graduated from Pratt Institute, is well known for his famous design of the Asian fusion lounge restaurant MARU.

To create a truly unique spa environment Matthew said "I stepped outside the industry's view point of what it should or was suppose to look like." Matthew's final inspiration for the med spa came from many days of hiking through the Sedona, Arizona wilderness, and photographing the intricate habitat through-out the red rocks. Paying close attention to how hard and soft surfaces in nature are harmonized with lighting; Matthew discovered the need to create the same effect within the Elizabeth Roche M.D. MedSpa.

Matthew's concept, along with the collaboration of Dr. Roche, delivered a med spa incomparable to any other facility in its class. "We have designed Elizabeth Roche M.D. MedSpa to create a soothing environment to de-stress the mind the moment one steps into the space," says Dr. Roche.
