Always one step ahead, the WG custom built a mobile treatment cart system making it the only cosmetic surgery practice in the nation enabling guests to remain in a single private spa room for non-surgical services. It is also the first in Las Vegas to introduce luxurious electronic treatment chairs that raise and lower guests effortlessly, eliminating the need for them to hop or climb up before and after services.

“As safety and comfort are top priorities, we have invested a lot of time researching and designing the most relaxing and inviting atmosphere for our guests,” says Stephen W. Weiland, MD, medical director of the WG. “I believe that easing guests’ concerns are just as important as the physical surgery. These technological advances create more comfort and help relieve the natural stress associated with any surgery.”

The mobile cart system was developed by Debra Weiland, WG administrator, after realizing the convenience it could provide guests. The carts can be stocked with supplies from skin spa products for a facial, to breast implants for a consultation. To complement this design, electronic treatment chairs position guests appropriately for their services. Instead of being moved from room to room, guests remain in one comfortable location, where all of the staff comes to them.

In addition, the WG was one of the first practices in the nation to go paperless with their patient charts. This streamlined process eliminates the time filling out forms and allows for more personal attention to be placed on guests.

Adding to its convenience, the WG offers a resort-level concierge service that makes visits easy for guests and their families, assisting with recovery stays, travel, transportation, lodging, dining and entertainment requests. And, with a wide variety of recovery and skin-care products to choose from in the WG Boutique, busy guests can simply place a telephone or email order and pick it up “curbside” at a private retail entrance.

Dr. Weiland, one of a small group of triple board-certified surgeons in Nevada, is an active member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Nevada State Medical Association, and the Clark County Medical Society, as well as many other medical associations.
